    These were really helpful! I definitely agree with the tip about antagonists. It’s all a part of imagining your characters in a complex way, and when you write that, others will see it.

    Thank you so much for all your great advice! It gives all of us aspiring authors hope and encouragement. I also agree about treating all characters as their own hero. It helps me to write bios in first person for each main character. Their personalities and motives come to life that way.
