Cecil Castellucci is the author of novels for young adults. Boy Proof , The Queen of Cool and Beige all on Candlewick Press and the upcoming Rose Sees Red (Aug 2010) on Scholastic Press. Her first Graphic Novel, The Plain Janes, launched the DC Comics Minx imprint and she was awarded the 2007 Shuster Award for best Canadian Comic Book Writer. It was followed up by the sequel Janes in Love. Her first Picture Book, Grandma’s Gloves, is due out in August 2010.

MARGARET STOHL AND KAMI GARCIA
Margaret and Kami are the co-authors of the Beautiful Creatures series published by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers.

Margaret Stohl fell in love with American literature at Amherst and Yale, earned an MA in English from Stanford, and studied creative writing under the late great poet George MacBeth at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. She taught Intro to Film as a TA at Yale and Romantic Poetry as a TA at Stanford.

Kami Garcia has an MA in education, and taught in the DC area until moving to Los Angeles ten years ago. In addition to writing YA fiction, she is a Reading Specialist and continues to teach and lead book groups for children and teens
